Cylindrical & Tubular Lock Set Installation

(Former Hardware Installation)

This module will review the technical specification of residential and commercial door locksets (cylindrical and tubular). Door frames will be presented in detail followed by practical exercise and hardware installation. Included is a discussion and demonstration of the use of power and non-power tools. Workplace safety will be a component of this module. Students will install different types of hardware. There will be new and retrofit installations. Students will be shown how to select a product that meets requirements of the current tasks. The Ontario Building Code and Fire Codes will be referenced as they apply.

Criminal Record Check NOT Required.
