Card Access

This class will feature Smart Lock PRO (SLP) single door controllers. The students will design systems to unlock both electric door strikes and MAG locks. This will be done Bench and Lab settings. The participant will learn installation of software to a laptop PC. Serial Communication device connections will be covered. The student will learn how to add readers, how to add cardholders, how to view event history files. The student will learn how to choose the proper door hardware to work with the system. This program does not require approval under the Private Career Colleges Act, 2005.

Note: For admission you must have industry experience or passed Class 2 Electric Circuit course.
